Matt was born and raised in Harvard, Illinois. His father was a school teacher for over thirty years and his mother was a stay at home mom and x-ray technician. He graduated from University of Wisconsin – Platteville in 1993 with a major in Technical Agriculture with an emphasis in finance and an Accounting minor. He lives in Rockford with his wife Suzannah and his son Nicholas. Matt started his career at AXA/Equitable for the first ten years and then transitioned to LPL Financial to continue his career as an independent small business owner. He has a Certificate Kingdom Advisors designation which is a national know credential in biblical based finance planning. He enjoys playing softball and attending NASCAR races with Nicholas during is free time outside of work.
